“The Resilient and Mindful Youth-Serving Professional"
Explore self-care and healthy stress-coping skills including mindfulness.  Learn about stress physiology and the impacts of chronic stress on being fully present and emotionally regulated for your important work.  Experience several practices to calm and focus the mind-body. Walk away with a resilience plan.

Dr. Lucy Vezzuto, Ph.D
Lucy A. Vezzuto, Ph.D., is a Fulbright Scholar in Education and Coordinator Student Mental Health, Social-emotional Learning at the Orange County Dept. of Education.  She provides training programs for youth-serving professionals in the prevention and early identification of student mental health issues. Her other areas of interest are restorative practices, stress management and mindfulness for adults and youth. Dr. Vezzuto received stress management and mindfulness training at UCLA’S Mindfulness Awareness Research Center, the UC Irvine’s Samueli Center for Integrative Medicine and at Harvard Medical School’s Benson-Henry Institute for Mind-Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
