The Early Childhood Development Act of 2020 and the enacted state budget for FY 2020-21, transitions responsibility of a number of ECE programs from the California Department of Education, Early Learning and Care Division to the California Department of Social Services, Child Care Development Division. This page is designed to help organize the flow of information around this transition and will be updated regularly. Please contact EveryChild California with any questions during this time.
