Volunteer Opportunities

Joining an EveryChild California Committee is a great way to make a difference in our community and advance your own professional growth by growing your network and gaining new skills. Advocacy Committee

Help address advocacy and policy issues affecting the publicly funded early care and education community. As a member this Committee, you'll help maximize our impact by taking legislative and regulatory action, forging partnerships, engaging advocates, and fostering issue campaigns. Member Engagement Committee

The purpose of the Membership Engagement Committee is to support EveryChild California members in feeling connected to their membership experience by helping them access resources, participate in networking activities, and enhance their leadership skills through volunteerism and creative thinking. The committee time is used to discuss membership needs, brainstorm ideas to elevate engagement opportunities and make recommendations that                                                      enhance the overall member experience.

Professional Development Committee

Help create the structure, framework, and content for professional development opportunities. This Committee meets continually throughout the year to make ongoing assessments to the training needs within the field. If you're interested in helping to provide educational opportunities for our community, this is the committee for you!

Programmatic Committees – Direct, In-Direct Contracting, Private

EveryChild California has three Programmatic Committees for agencies running direct contracts such as CCTR and CSPP, those running in-direct contracts such as APP, R&R, LPC, and those running Private Pay programs. These Committees will serve as a Think Tank to programmatic needs and issues for EveryChild California and contribute to our advocacy and high-level policy goals through                                                     the specific contract/ funding stream

Regional Committees – North, Central, South

EveryChild California has three Regional Committees – North, Central, and Southern California. Each Regional Committee has its own local feel with similar goals. Regional Committees are responsible for education and networking events in their region.
