Since 1985, Eric has worked in the Early Care and Education field first as a teacher in a child care center, and for the last 30 years, as a Child Care Resource and Referral and Alternative Payment Program professional. His interest in serving families and child care providers and focus on community collaboration has led him to be a dedicated advocate and community leader. Eric has extensive experience presenting workshops to diverse parents and families on a range of topics (e.g., ‘How to be an effective advocate’) and expertise in facilitating support groups for fathers. He currently serves on several statewide committees advocating for families in California. Eric received his Bachelor of Arts in Business at Bethel University and a Master’s of Arts in Education with an emphasis on Leadership in Early Childhood from Mills College.
