Professional Bio
Maéva G. Renaud, of Vacaville, has been the Vice-President of Advocacy and Policy for Kidango since 2021, designing solutions that elevate the perspectives of families and the early learning workforce. She started as Kidango’s Community Organizer in 2019 equipping parents and teachers to use their voices to influence and improve child care and preschool policy. With over 15 years of experience in teaching, nonprofit management, community engagement, and policy advocacy, she currently serves on the Alameda County Early Care & Education Planning Council’s Community Advisory Council on Measure C, and is a co-founder of Black Californians for Early Care and Education. She holds a Bachelor’s in Multimedia Communications from Florida Atlantic University, an M.S. Ed. in Special Education from Brooklyn College, and an M.A. in Urban Studies with a concentration in Arts in Transformation from Eastern University.
