California's subsidized early learning and care administrators are facing important decisions about capacity, funding, and the future of their programs. EveryChild California is calling on our member community to help us understand what is happening on the ground in your programs, and what is needed now to protect child care capacity across the state.

Join us for a 90-minute virtual town hall on September 9 at 2:00pm. Come prepared to share what your organization is experiencing as we pose critical questions to help us better understand the financial and operational realities faced by contractors across the state.

Together, we will explore questions including:

• Is your program considering reducing enrollment or classroom capacity? What is happening financially or operationally that is causing you to consider those options?

• For providers trying to open or expand classrooms, how are you covering costs before sufficient revenue is available?

• Where are you seeing the greatest gaps between reimbursement and the actual cost of operating in your community?

• What actions would make the greatest difference in preventing reductions in child care capacity?

Your experience matters. What we hear during this conversation will help EveryChild California identify common concerns, understand where providers are most vulnerable, and determine priorities for follow-up and action.
