EveryChild California is here to support our staff every step of the way.
- Text your direct supervisor as soon as you know you will not be coming in.
- To record sick time in Paylocity, log in to your employee self-service portal.
- Navigate to the "Time Off" section, select "Submit Time Off Request," choose the type "Sick".
- Input the start and end dates of your sick time, and then submit your request.
- To request time off in Paylocity, log in to your employee self-service portal.
- Navigate to the "Time Off" section, select "Submit Time Off Request," choose the type of leave.
- Input the start and end dates of your leave, and then submit your request.
- If you do not have sufficient time, you may request unpaid time off.
Leads commit about 3–4 hours a month. General Members can participate as little as 10–20 minutes for rapid actions or more if they want to attend trainings and events.
Members receive clear, jargon-free updates, advocacy toolkits, and access to trainings. Leads also get onboarding, monthly meetings, and mentorship opportunities.
No! ECE Voices is designed to build your skills step by step. Many members start with no prior advocacy experience.
By sharing your story, taking actions, and showing up in your region, you add to a collective voice that directly influences California’s policies and funding for early care and education.
