We are pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2025-2027 Board of Directors.
The Call for Nominations is now open, and we are seeking candidates for all open positions.
Service on the Board of Directors of EveryChild California is a rare chance to help drive the decisions of our highly respected association and shape the future of early care and education in California. Working with other leaders at EveryChild California allows you to be part of the decision-making process at the state level, driving the strategic goals of EveryChild California.
This is an exciting time to join the leadership of EveryChild California and help us map our ambitious future.
Board service is a chance to grow personally and professionally, develop skills, gain unique experience, and make lasting connections with a team of other passionate and motivated professionals. EveryChild California has a dedicated staff in Sacramento who make the board's job as fulfilling as possible. They manage EveryChild California’s day-to-day tasks, enabling the board to focus on matters of strategic importance, which can help improve the programs and services that we offer to our members.

Private Contracting Chair
Position Descriptions:
Click here for information that outlines the responsibilities for the positions described above. The Board meets ten (10) times yearly in person or via teleconferencing. Interested members may also contact the incumbents for more details on activities associated with the positions.
Nomination Form:
If you would like to be considered for one of these positions, or if you would like to nominate someone else, please complete the Nomination Form online. Completed Nominations are due no later than 5:00 pm on March 26, 2025.

Candidate Requirements and Eligibility:
Every candidate wishing to be considered for any position(s) will be required to complete a Nomination Form or have a Nomination Form completed for them.
Election Schedule:
The following are the essential milestones in the 2025-2027 nomination and election process:

February 26, 2025 - Call for Nominations released.

March 26, 2025 - Deadline for receipt of Nomination Forms.

April 9, 2025- A slate of candidates is presented to the membership, and electronic ballots are sent to all voting members.

May 7, 2025 - Election results announced to members.

June 2025 - New officers installed.
-
June 2025 – Annual Board Retreat.
