CDE Publishes New Fiscal Handbook, CDSS Coming Soon

We wanted to take a moment to point out that the Fiscal year 25-26 Enrollment, Attendance, and Fiscal Reporting and Reimbursement Procedures for Early Education Contractors, commonly called the EENFS Fiscal Handbook for CDE programs, has now been published. This handbook provides important guidance on enrollment, attendance, fiscal reporting and reimbursement procedures.

What this means for you:

• The handbook is numbered for Fiscal Year 2025–26, but state law keeps the current handbook active until its successor is officially published.

• For programs administered by the Child Care and Development Division (CCDD), you are still operating under the FY 2023–24 fiscal handbook until the new one is released. It was announced this week that their 25-26 update is in the final stages of being approved and will be published very soon.
